Unemployment Information

The COVID-19 crisis has had an increasingly powerful impact on Gaston County and throughout all of North Carolina. The NC Department of Employment Security reports that so far, the state has paid out over $329.87 Million in COVID-19 related claims through the pandemic unemployment compensation funds. The following is information regarding filing an application for unemployment benefits:
